Jeff Kelson brings 25 years of experience to his position as Partner in Charge of domestic tax at Amper, Politziner & Mattia. His corporate tax expertise centers around companies in the manufacturing/distributing, technology and professional services industries. Prior to joining Amper, Jeff was a tax partner for a national accounting firm and was responsible for the technical review of S-Corporations. He earned his B.B.A. degree in accounting at The City University of New York's Baruch College. Jeff is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In addition, he has appeared on CNN and CNBC to discuss various tax topics and has been published in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and Washington Post. Marty is a Partner in the Litigation and Valuation Department. He has more than 36 years of experience in forensic accounting and litigation support, valuations of professional and commercial entities, planning for businesses, professional persons, and estate planning and taxation. Marty has testified in numerous cases in New York (Westchester, Queens, Rockland and Nassau), New Jersey, and Connecticut. He has been appointed Court's accountant and has served as a neutral accountant in litigation in Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Bronx, Nassau and New York Counties. Marty has been a Court-appointed accountant in Surrogate Court as well as a Court-appointed Receiver. He has appeared on television (CNN "Your Money" and Court TV), given numerous speeches (Practicing Law Institute, NY State Society of CPAs, New York State Bar Association, Westchester Bar Association, Suffolk County Bar Association, and Pace University), and published professional articles. Marty holds a Master's degree in Taxation from Baruch College, City University of New York and Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Queens College, City University of New York. He is an Accredited Business Valuator through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. His involvement in the community includes the American Red Cross, UJA and Westchester Holocaust Education and Human Rights Center. |
