Amper Announces Peter Bible as Partner-In-Charge
of the New York Office Peter Bible, CPA Partner-In-Charge Amper, Politziner & Mattia ("Amper") is pleased to announce that Peter R. Bible has joined the firm as partner in charge of our New York office. "We are delighted that Pete has joined Amper," said Phil Politziner, President of Amper. "His experience with public and private companies, international business, the capital markets, and world-class organizations is ideal for the New York market and our strategic plan for exponential growth." Prior to joining Amper, Peter served as Chief Accounting Partner for General Motors Corporation (GM). At GM, he held worldwide responsibility for accounting, financial reporting Strategic Risk Management and forecasting, SEC reporting, financial controls and systems development. During his career, Peter has held worldwide accounting responsibility for two Fortune 50 corporations and served as Audit Partner for Deloitte and Touche's New York office. At GM, he spearheaded and supported alliances with Suzuki and Daewoo, divestitures of Hughes Corporation and Delphi. He was the first-ever preparer to receive the Andrew Braden Award, recognizing excellence in accounting. "The recent GM reorganization afforded me the opportunity to evaluate what I wanted to do with the balance of my career," said Peter. "I considered many opportunities, from senior executive at Fortune companies to industrials to professional service firms including Big 4 accounting firms." "When I became aware of the opportunity to
advance the NY practice of Amper to the next level,
I immediately recognized the personal and
professional fit for me," Peter continued. "I started
in a smaller office at Deloitte, providing audit and
tax services to private and public companies. I am

He is a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) in New York and Ohio and a member of the AICPA (American Institute Certified Public Accountants). Peter is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys coaching youth sports and spending time with his wife and children. |
