Amper, Politziner & Mattia, Certified Public Accountants and Financial Consultants, is pleased to announce that Lewis D. Bivona CPA has been promoted to Senior Manager. Lewis D. Bivona CPA is a Senior Manager with the Healthcare Services and Insurance Industry Groups at Amper, Politziner & Mattia. Mr. Bivona has more than 26 years of experience in the healthcare field providing expertise in reimbursement and contractual negotiations, technical services to nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospitals and managed care and regulatory agencies. Mr. Bivona earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from The College of New Jersey. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of CPAs, where he serves on the Healthcare Committee, as the Healthcare Committee's liaison to the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance and a member of the Bankruptcy and Reorganization Subcommittee. Mr. Bivona is a member and former educational chair of the NJ Society of Managed Care Executives, a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), former co-chair of the HFMA Managed Care Reimbursement Subcommittee and an Associate Member of the Society of Financial Examiners.
