August 24, 2005 Paula Young CPA and Daniel Gibson CPA,EA named Directors
Amper, Politziner & Mattia, Certified Public Accountants and Financial Consultants, is pleased to announce that the following individuals have been promoted to Directors in the accounting firm. Paula Young CPA - A Director in the firm's Audit & Assurance Department, Ms. Young has more than 14 years of experience serving both public companies and private companies in various industries including, supermarkets, cooperatives, franchises and manufacturers and distributors. She also has extensive experience in SEC compliance and reporting requirements. As a member of the firm's Quality Assurance Department, Ms. Young performs many of the firm's quality review engagements. Ms. Young is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is a graduate of Wagner College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and a minor in Mathematics. She is a resident of East Brunswick. Daniel Gibson CPA, EA - A Director in the firm's Tax Department, Mr. Gibson has 20 years of experience working extensively with individuals and small to medium-sized businesses in a wide range of industries providing accounting, tax and consulting services. He is a member of the firm's State and Local Tax (SALT) Group and he has lectured and published articles on topics including federal and New Jersey tax changes, individual/business tax planning and business strategies. Mr. Gibson is a graduate of the University of Scranton and has attended graduate studies at Bernard Baruch College. He has earned a Graduate Certificate in Taxation from Golden Gate University and is presently pursuing a Masters in Taxation at Golden Gate University. Mr. Gibson is a Certified Public Accountant and an Enrolled Agent. He serves on the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Audit Committee for the Greater Somerset County Chapter of the American Red Cross. He is a resident of Hillsborough.
