EDISON - Amper, Politziner & Mattia, Certified Public Accountants and Consultants, is pleased to announce that Andrew Barfuss has joined the firm as a Partner.

Andrew Barfuss CPA is a Partner in Amper’s Risk Advisory Group covering risk management, internal control and process improvement. Mr. Barfuss supports clients in the areas of financial reporting, Information technology, compliance and business operations. He assists companies in identifying risks and determining the efficiency and effectiveness of controls and other management processes designed to manage such risks.

Mr. Barfuss was a founding member of Harborview Partners, a risk management & internal control boutique and previously was a member of Pricewaterhouse Coopers’ global risk management group.

Mr. Barfuss holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and has completed numerous programs at General Electric’s John F. Welch Leadership Center. He earned a CPA certification in New York State and is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and National Association of Corporate Directors. In addition, he is a past executive committee member of the Securities Industry Association’s Internal Audit Division.
