Accounting and Auditing Partner Joins Amper
Amper, Politziner & Mattia, Certified Public Accountants and Consultants, is pleased to announce that Michael C. Bernstein has joined the firm as a Partner.
Michael C. Bernstein CPA is a Partner in the firm's Accounting and Auditing Practice and has more than 25 years of experience in working with middle market growth companies, including public entities, private business and not-for-profit organizations. His experience encompasses a broad range of industries, with a special emphasis on technology businesses, venture-backed companies, SEC companies and service organizations. He has substantial experience with public companies, corporate governance, IPO's, and other offerings. He brings a unique and valuable perspective to the SEC practice, having served on the Board of Directors for public and private companies.
Most recently, Mr. Bernstein headed the Emerging Business Group of Geller & Company. Previously, he was with Grant Thornton serving as SEC Partner for the New York office, partner-in-charge of the firm's Technology Industry Practice, International Practice Partner and UK resident Partner.
Mr. Bernstein is the author of Raising Capital, and an SEC and technology company expert who has appeared on CNBC, in Forbes and other venues.
Mr. Bernstein holds a BS in Accounting summa cum laude from Long Island University/C.W. Post College. He is a CPA in New York and New Jersey and a member of the AICPA, NY Society of CPAs and NJ Society of CPAs. He is a resident of East Brunswick.
